| My mother presented me with a beautiful and compelling poem in preparation for the new year. It was originally in Korean, but I have done my best to translate it.
When stepping in a snow-covered field, Be careful not to place your footsteps messily. For today's footprints Will be tomorrow's path to those who follow you.
Happy new year, everyone! | | |
| What if we lived on each other's cheeks? Drinking in the soft curves and the flushed joy. Tickling for more. What if we floated away on our gentle smiling sighs? Rocking back and forth from the ins and outs. And off we go. | | |
| Hello, readers. Or quite possibly "reader". Springtime has hit us fully. You know what spring means: Time for single ladies and single men to start getting out their radars.
Well, before you start fantasizing about the charming Sinatra-esque singer with perfect white teeth or the cute college girls in their bright sundresses, here's a bit of insight for both sides.
Ladies, unless we are absolutely confident with ourselves and have a pretty good idea of what we want, we should not rush into a relationship. Do not ever let any guy with a few tricks up his sleeve and a charming little smile sweep you away from the important things in life that you are missing. Only when you are feeling like you can really handle a relationship can you even begin to just get to know a guy.
Boys, your task is simple: be men. Not awful and desensitized brutes, but not complete pansies either. Be that man who is not just a mask of a gentleman, but confident and real man. The type of man who always walks on the outside of the sidewalk to protect the lady, who always carries the umbrella, who waits for the lady to sit before he sits, and other small things that are subtle yet deliberate. These are the things that she will love without noticing. She will have had the best dates, but will not be able to put her finger on why exactly she is always so comfortable and safe around you. I realized that all girls have different tastes in men, but no matter who you are pursuing, if you follow such simple rules, you will be the type of guy a girl can picture herself ending up with.

| Six Muches Katrina Kim
I glance at you and quickly shy away. I feel you smile and hold me closer. That smile! O that smile. Nothing could more say "This girl is my life. And my world. And I love her."
"How much do you love me, or do you love me at all?" "Hmm, I think six muches and no less than this. Would you catch me, baby? Or would you let me fall?" "Catch you. For I love you all the muches minus six."
This is a partial sonnet kinda.
